    Ahmed E. Mohamed Khalil

    Biography

    Ahmed is an Associate at Kaufman & Canoles and focuses his practice on a wide range of real estate litigation matters, including partition suits, boundary disputes, eminent domain cases, and both residential and commercial landlord-tenant disputes on the landlord side. His expertise extends to land use law, where he provides research and support for matters involving local governments, as well as estate litigation and general commercial litigation dealing with contract disputes. He also provides support for matters involving Fair Credit Reporting Act claims defense for credit unions.

    Ahmed is admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Virginia Bankruptcy Court and handles creditor-side bankruptcy matters, such as filing proofs of claim. His litigation experience also includes representing clients in malicious prosecution suits, including a case that proceeded to trial and settled following successful post-verdict motions.
